History

Total Quality, Inc. was established in 1992 by Terry Fewless as a logistics brokerage firm outsourcing primarily truckload and less-than-truckload transportation services to qualified trucking companies in the central and northern United States.  TQI entered the cold chain logistics market in 1992, and today enjoys an excellent reputation as a high quality, full-service cold chain provider.  Superior, on-time reliable service has made TQI a widely recognized name within the Life Sciences industry for cold chain logistics services.

Consistent with its roots as a family-owned company, Total Quality maintains a collegial and entrepreneurial atmosphere at its headquarters in Grand Haven, Michigan.  The employees of Total Quality are truly the root of all of the Company’s successes and growth over the years.  A high value is placed on an individual’s ability to not only perform his/her function at a high level, but also that individual’s ability to work in and be a part of a team.  As such, all employees, including management, utilize an open door policy to facilitate day-to-day activities and encourage the flow of ideas amongst all levels of personnel.  Everyone at Total Quality has the opportunity to contribute to the success of the Company above and beyond just their individual roles.
